Here at Van Leeuwen UK our head office is based in the heart of the Black Country; an area synonymous with the production of steel and the manufacture of steel products dating back to the Industrial Revolution. The Deckhouse is situated in Brierley Hill on The Waterfront near The Merry Hill Centre. We have production facilities located at Basingstoke, Bolton, Middlesbrough and Tullow along with a sales office located in Sheffield.

Sustainability Strategy

Our top priority for the coming years is to work toward carbon-neutral operations with the aim of being the greenest pipe and tube distributor in the world before 2030.

The question of how Van Leeuwen can create value in sustainable ways, now and in the future, is the key focus of this strategy. The strategy focuses on four themes: Climate Action, People, Growth, and Partners & Suppliers. We will of course continue to devote efforts to a healthy future for new generations after 2025. We have developed a roadmap for the longer term. This way we steadily work toward the next milestone. Right now, our key focus is on CO2 reduction. In 2024, our goal is to embed sustainability in our business operations. In 2025, we aim to join the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).  Since 2015, more than 1,000 companies have joined this initiative to enable them to set scientifically supported climate targets.

We are driven in our ambitions and in our evolution by what markets and customers require from us, now and in the future. Van Leeuwen has increasingly evolved into a service-oriented business, directed at specific markets and customers on the one hand, and on large projects with partnerships and customisation on the other hand. We reinforce our leading market positions through organic growth and acquisitions, as well as through continually strengthening and broadening our product portfolio, service delivery and international organisation. 

Our acquisitions are focused on areas in which we do not yet have any in-house specialisms, or on geographical areas where we do not yet have a strong presence and want to enlarge our footprint.
